I hope Joseph comes back. I’ve seen him get a 3rd round grade in some early mocks. They way he played in that LSU game was amazing. That’s his ceiling, if he did that every week my god the defense would be amazing. He was national player of the week after that game. Linebacker is a position that requires a lot of reps to hone your skills in. I think he would be special next year.

His stock is up, but I'd be shocked with him going in the third. It's not that he's not good -- he is amazingly talented, but look at the FSU game (just as one example) -- especially on 4th and 13. He's also been extremely bad in coverage. Porter will remember this fondly: But Nauta burnt him four times on one drive, literally burnt toast, couldn't stop that play.

He is very good, but he has a lot to work on. He could easily be 1 - 2 next year and cash out, but third, in my opinion, might be a little high, especially with the LB class this year.

But, to make this more contemporary:

Our LBs are about to have a serious injection of talent. I can't wait to see Diwun put on some weight. Kid played some WR in HS too, and he could easily play on the line or...he can do it all. Super hyped to have the 'Percy Harvin' of our defense.

You guys think Burney stays at Safety or moves to OLB? Ppl saying he may outgrow the safety spot

Yeah I have heard a bunch of claims to the "next" Percy. I'll believe it when I see it.
