Nakobe Dean at the AL-MS All-Stars event:

“I feel good about Alabama. The coaches. The type of coaches they bring to the table. And my feel at the University and how they’ll develop me on and off the field.”

When asked which coaches he’s closest with, Dean named Ole Miss’ Jon Sumrall, Auburn’s Travis Williams, LSU’s Dave Aranda and Alabama’s Pete Golding.

"I know I have to work for it. I know I have to work hard to do what I have to do to get closer to my dreams and goals.”

Dean, could potentially have a decision made on Thursday (his birthday) or Friday, but no later than Monday. Dean plans to inform schools of his decision to be respectful and allow them to move on, but doesn’t intend to announce until next Wednesday on ESPN at 1:20 p.m. CT.
