Holy shite, did Georgia really make a run at our kicker from Hoover too? I just saw a tweet by Bone.

If so, then Kirby is really just trying to piss Saban off. That Championship loss has really stung

Either that or now that all the recruiting info he stole on his way out the door is expired he doesn't know what to do other than go after all the kids we do and try to lure our coaches away.

It's more than just a coincidence though. Obviously there's going to be some overlap, but no two programs evaluate the exact same way because different coaches see different things.

Alabama's recruiting class is so dominant, it embarrasses an entire Power 5 conference

quote:

Alabama has collected a historic recruiting class, and is clearly the No. 1 team for the 2019 cycle.

The Crimson Tide have 24 commits, and all but one are 4-star or 5-star prospects, according to the 247Sports Composite. But even with a wider view, SB Nation notes that 10 of the top 100 nationally on the 247Sports Composite are committed to the Tide. For perspective, the entire Pac-12 combined has eight top-100 commits.

Alabama’s only non-blue-chip commitment is a kicker. There’s just over a week left before the first National Signing Day arrives, and Alabama is in the mix for more top-shelf talent, including some that could flip from other blue blood programs.

This class is also notable because it comes a year after the Crimson Tide finished fifth, following a seven-year streak of No. 1-ranked classes. Alabama’s staff has stiff-armed negative recruiting that centered on coach Nick Saban’s age, and questions about his retirement future.

Georgia has gained momentum this week with notable commitments or reaffirmations of previous pledges. After that, it’s Texas A&M, LSU, Clemson, Texas and Oregon for the rest of the top finishers.
