Alabama’s RB plans in 2019 include getting former 5-star commit back on board

Full attention now turns to the 2019 class. Over the course of the next two weeks, SEC Country will look at each position group on offense and defense for the Class of 2019. The breakdown: Alabama signed one running back in the 2018 class: 4-star prospect Jerome Ford. The Crimson Tide will lose Damien Harris after this season. Harris coming back to school after his junior season was a big surprise after he racked up back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.

When the 2019 running back(s) get to campus, Josh Jacobs will be a senior, Najee Harris and Brian Robinson will be juniors and Ford likely will be a redshirt freshman. That’s why I expect Alabama to sign two at the position.
