Evan Neal just picked up another CB to Bama from FSU mod Christopher Nee.

Any idea as to his plans to commit (has he set a date? Waiting for OV?)?

They wont give all of our guys or potential guys bumps no matter if they deserve it or not. Pola Gates shouldve got a bump and how does K. Harris drop 30 spots. Battle is blowing up and drops.

Alabama commit Antonio Alfano has had some off-field red flags that have muted his rise in the rankings but after a focused senior season, we’re ready to slot him where his talent dictates.

1st off, F them for that. No one knows what they are and, by all accounts, he seems like a good kid.

2nd, why would off the field "red flags" impact how you rank a player in relation to his peers' ability on the field?

Yeah I don’t get that either. There’s been several POS 5 stars before.

Sounds like they are trying to cover their asses for having him criminally underrated. Why not just be honest instead of starting a nasty rumor

Will this be the best Oline class signed by Saban?

How do we look for Darnell Wright?

I will assume we get the ones I've bolded... it will be just a nasty good class. Every position accounted for with a stud!

3-5*s, 2-4*s

With D Wright would be 4 5*s

Offensive Line (4-6)

4* OC Darrian Dalcourt 6-4/290 MD hudl *
5* OG Clay Webb 6-3/295 AL hudl *
5* OL Pierce Quick 6-5/285 AL hudl
*
4* OL Tanner Bowles 6-5/280 KY hudl *
4* OT Amari Kight 6-6.5/315 AL hudl *

5* OT Evan Neal 6-7.5/360 IMG/FL hudl *

??
5* OT Darnell Wright 6-6/320 WV hudl

Heck combine both O and D line and this may be the best LOS class of all times at Bama

We need to get Trey Sanders to run the ball behind this line... has to be a motivating factor for him..

I think Evan Neal could pop on his Iron Bowl weekend OV or very soon after that. I hope so, since that'd spark momentum and maybe create some urgency for grabbing one of the dwindling available spots remaining. Trey Sanders is announcing Dec 19 on ESPN. I haven't seen any mention of whether Neal or any other IMG guys might do the same.

Crystal balls and rumors on UGA board point to him committing to the Dawgs soon
Not, that he was coming to Bama anyway, but I doubt he makes his OV for the Iron Bowl.

I don't doubt that maybe they've heard something, but throwing it out there is complete horseshite. Just say he's been undervalued and bump him. Total shite move to go about it like they have.

Just did a class calculator with the updated rankings. If Bama closes with the stretch/but possible finish of:

Sanders
Sopsher
Dean
Webb
Neal
To'oto'o
Bogle

They'd finish at 324.40. That would be the 2nd best class of all time (just behind Florida's 2010 finish of 324.62)

Just looked at the 247 player ranking and this kinda surprised me.

Sospher is listed at 95% LS8u... I thought Bama lead for him or was much higher % for landing him...

I've read a lot post from LS8u fans saying he is Bama bound with the usual cheating allegations..etc..

What's the realistic chance we get him?

Would be huge get and we get to stick it to LS8u fans.

We will continue to dominate them on the LOS with the incoming class on Oline and Dline, especially if we can steal Sospher out of their backyard.

I think those are all very to pretty likely to sign with Bama. I think they want to take another DB too. If Neal and Webb both sign, maybe Bowles will get cold feet.

There'll be more player rankings updates from 247, Rivals and ESPN. So, it's possible the final score for our 2019 class could break the old record.

Yeah, all three, and Irv Smith are likely gone after next season. That doesn't seem very far away to me. Irv probably gone after this season.

15 of the 19 LSU CBs for Sopsher were placed between Mar-2016 and June-2018. The other 4 LSU CBs were placed in Sep-2018. They'll end up wrong unless they change them to Bama.
