.....and I'm afraid we're witnessing the beginning of the decline in Alabama softball...no decent returning pitching, mediocre talent(few athletes), and a staff that seems to have lost the "fire in their bellies"....hope I'm wrong, but...

i assume we only got 2 runs in game one and lost in 9. I went to bed after it was tied up on bottom of 7

So we score two runs in 16 innings. Their back up pitcher gave up 0 runs.

What we need is a new batting coach. We best have a stud pitcher coming in, if not we wont finish 500 in league play next year

This is not the beginning. This is a trend that started several years back. This team is so poorly coached it is pathetic. The players are in horrible shape and it shows. The second string first baseman is a clown show. Saying she can't field her position is an understatement. Look at the team that beat us. Every player is in shape. They can hit and they all can field multiple positions. This is the worst hitting team I've seen at this level of softball. Murphy say's he's the hitting coach? Hitting coach my arse. Changes need to be made. Get rid of the worthless first base coach, pitching coach and Murphy if he doesn't present a comprehensive plan to change.
