Over/Under Gamethread at 21 pages
• Daryl Macon is the first player in school history to earn SEC Player of the Week three times in a single season and four times in a career.
• During the last four seasons, Arkansas is second in the SEC in league wins with 38, while LSU is T-10th with 27 victories.
• Arkansas’ last five wins have come by a combined 12 points, with one coming in overtime and one in double overtime. The Razorbacks are 10-1 in their last 11 one possession game.
• Barford (20.4) and Macon (18.0) rank first and third in the league in scoring during SEC games. No other team in the conference has two players in the top 10.
• Jaylen Barford is the only player in the SEC to rank in the top four in points per game (2nd), field goal percentage (4th) and three-point FG percentage (1st).
• After going 4-of-4 from the free throw line in the two overtimes at Georgia, Daryl Macon is a perfect 19-of-19 from the free throw line in the final minute and overtime of games this season. In his career, he is 49-of-53 (.925).
• Daniel Gafford leads all SEC freshmen and ranks seventh in the nation among rookies in field goal percentage at 60.1 percent.
• Arkansas has won 32 consecutive games in which it has led at halftime. During Mike Anderson era, the Razorbacks are 117-7 when leading at the intermission.
A Win Would…
• Give the Razorbacks consecutive wins in Baton Rouge for the first time in 19 years.
• Be Arkansas’ eighth SEC road victory during the last two seasons.
• Make the Razorbacks 7-1 in their last eight Saturday games, including four straight wins
LSU
LSU has posted three wins in the SEC – one at the wire (at A&M) and two in fairly easy scoring margin
fashion (at Arkansas and vs. A&M). The Tigers are having to learn 1) what to do with a lead; 2) what they must do to stop opponent’s runs; and 3) what are the options that can get their back in the game.
In four league losses, the Tigers were no more than eight points back at the end. Not counting LSU’s two
league wins a year ago, LSU had only five total games in which the final margin was eight or less and only one game of less than three.
Here’s the inside of LSU’s four losses that could have turned around:
Kentucky – L, 74-71 – LSU up 7, 19:39 to play; two shots to tie in final seven seconds.
Alabama – L, 66-74 – LSU up 5, 7:27 1st half; Down 15 2nd half, cut it to four final minutes.
Georgia – L, 60-61 – LSU up 12, 4:10 1st half; Up 10 at half; 3 pter to win misses final seconds.
Vandy – L, 71-77 – Vandy led 16, 16:54 2nd half; LSU takes lead, 2:21 left but cannot keep lead
The Tigers have five wins over teams in the top 50 RPI (Arkansas, A&M twice, Michigan and Houston) and
six wins in the top two quadrants of NCAA ranking sheets:
LSU is 4-3 against teams in Quadrant 1 with the wins at Arkansas, A&M both home and away and Michigan in Maui. LSU has a 2-5 mark against teams in Quadrant 2 which is Houston and at Memphis.
LSU is 3-3 on the road with all the games against teams in the top two quadrants.
LSU enters the weekend with a team RPI of 82.

If LSU beats Arkansas, LSU fans will claim LSU basketball is back. You cannot let that happen.

LSU should be given the 2nd W for what they did to Arkansas in BWA.
