One thing to factor in, they have played many more games than Bama. Some of those schools were playing football long before we did. Not really concerned with the old old records. I like looking at the last 10-15 years, most do not remember much past that. And to be honest teams 20-25 yrs ago really have no bearing on the schools today. Those team like to remember the late 1800's and first half of the 1900's as they were power houses then, not anymore. I mean really when was last time anyone feared ND or Mich

There's only a handful of years difference when most of the bluebood programs began playing. Michigan is the only one that is the outlier.

Obviously the recent past is more relevant, but it wasn't that long ago people would have put Alabama in Nebraska, Notre Dame, or Michigan's shoes.
