22% from three

Outrebounded by 8
Barnett, Porter and Robertson combined to go 3 for 26

Before the season I thought A&M was the best team in the SEC and the only team with a better frontcourt. They have had too many injuries and to win the conference.

Their front court is good, but we were pathetic.....again! This is 4 slow starts in a row. When we play a team that has been down, we have to come out and jump on top of them. When we don’t, it gives them hope, and the results are what we saw today! This was as bad as the Illinois game! This was a bad loss!

No this was not a bad loss. I had this a loss before the season, with a healthy MPJ.

Did you have A&M 0-4?

No I expected them to play with a full roster. Instead A&M had 3-4 starters out the first 3-4 SEC games.

Yes, this was a bad loss! We scored 10 points in the first 15 minutes! We scored 49 for the entire game! We should have won this game by double digits. This WILL look bad on the resume. NIT for us. Hope we don’t embarrass ourselves there too!

A&M is a top 2-3 team in the SEC in talent. They are 2-1 in SEC games with a full roster.
They also have the best and deepest frontcourt in the league. Meaning Mizzou’s guards have to win the game. That’s the weakness on the Mizzou team.

When we shoot 22% from 3 ball land, we’d better go inside. Our 6’11 big man that thinks he’s a guard was ofer on the day from everywhere! He should practice some inside game instead of jacking up 3’s during his spare time! Our front line is big enough to neutralize their frontline. Unfortunately, they don’t, and we become a below avg team when the 3 ball isn’t falling!

That’s why your expectations of game-by-game W/L prior to the season are meaningless.

I’m so sick of not utilizing Geist down low in the post. We need to feed him for easy post ups instead of forcing him to play point guard

aTm has a good squad. We shot like shite. We lose.

Any road win is basically stealing a game. Have to protect home court from now on.

Yeah, they looked really good tonight against LSU, another sub .500 conference team. They blew up A&M by double digits, and it wasn’t as close as the final 12 point margin!
