I can't wait until we stop hearing about Zions decision

Like he's Lebron or something

Eh, there's one of those players every class. It'll be someone else next year. Unfortunately this one was in our state and just didn't happen to have enough love for us. I don't even think it would have been that big a deal if he had just committed to Kentucky or Duke, it's the fact he is choosing Clemson of all places.

More about the media than him. It's expected, but I'm over it.

I knew it was a long shot for us to get Zion but I am so glad he didn’t end up at barn tech in the upstate.

It was a weird decision because Duke just signed two other guys, just as if not more talented than him, at the forward position.

If it was me I would have chosen an instate school where I could actually have a shot at starting or even playing the one year I was there.

I get that. But at the same time everyone that's played basketball for the last few decades knows Coach K and Duke, and the opportunity to be on some sort of 1-year "super team" has it's appeal.

True and if anybody can make a “one & done” super team happen it’s Coach K. I guess that means Marvin Bagley is definitely gone after this season.

Half our fan base were Duke basketball fans till last year anyway.

And now they’ll probably jump back on when we don’t make the tourney this year

I gotta kick outta this one reply - it literally made me lol.

He (Kirby) knows the power of this place. Clemson is probably the single most dangerous visit in the country, in the eyes of opposing coaches.

That was a very entertaining whatever the hell that was I just read. My favorite part was the response at the end:

It sounds like it's mostly the threat to pull offers from kids who could be considered UGA leans and the unwillingness to try and call him on it. There's been some stuff floating around that the going rate to cancel other visits is about $2500 from UGA, but I like to think that doesn't apply here even if it is just wishful thinking.

He learned from Saban some too. It's all about control. When Julio Jones was in high school Pete Carrol came to visit from USC and drove out to the middle of nowhere where the school was located. School staff saw him before Carrol got the to field and ran Jones inside and locked all the doors so that Carrol couldn't talk to him.

I didn’t realize how stupid/gullible someone could be to believe a story like that until I visited this pitiful excuse for a website.

No ... not a single one, not anywhere.

Here's the kicker.

Back in the 80s Vince Dooley pushed for a 72 no-contact period prior to Signing Day and he got it. It's commonly referred-to these days as "The Dooley Rule."

Wanna know why he pushed for that rule?

Because of Clemson and Danny Ford. Because Ford was well known for taking players and hiding them away, sometimes a week before Signing Day, so that opposing coaches could jot get to them to try to flip them. He would out them up at lavish out of town hotels with their families, often on a beach somewhere, and make them unaccessible to other schools ... especially when it came to Georgia athletes.

Not only are Clemson fans insane, I mean pathologically certifiably insane as a collective ... but they are also the biggest bunch of hypocrites the college football world has ever witnessed. Sociopathic hypocrites incapable of recognizing their own pathology.
