One impression I have gotten from JCP is she does not tolerate fricks ups very well, particularly when they are very high profile public frick ups.
I remember the last weeks of Bielema's stay here when she was hovering at the edge of his press conferences like an executioner getting ready to drop the axe. Which, I might add, she did as soon as the season ended.
If our new AD is anything like her, or gives JCP the control over personnel matters, then Mike Anderson is probably coaching for his career at Arkansas.
I want him to turn it around. I want him to be a big success here at Arkansas. But, to quote the Bob Dylan song, "the times they are a changing." This is not Jeff Long's athletic department.

All you needed to know About Long is the reactions of both Bert and Anderson when they were asked about his firing.
They knew the party was over... They knew results were finally going to count... And they're dealings with JCP were probably a swift kick in the nuts that the gravy train time was finally over.
No more pussyfoot Jeff Long... Business is bottom line now...
