The turnover on Alabama’s on-field coaching staff and support staff has been one of the biggest stories in college football this off-season.

Coming off of a national championship win over Georgia, one would figure that Saban would be content to keep the status quo. But that’s not Saban, and because Georgia signed the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class, it helped light a fire under Saban to make necessary changes to get the Tide’s recruiting back on top.

On Friday, FootballScoop reported that Saban is bringing back Daniel Bush in a role on the recruiting staff. Interestingly, it’s Bush’s third job in a matter of months. For the last three years, Bush was the director of player personnel and assistant director of recruiting at Arkansas until Bret Bielema was fired. Then, he moved on to Colorado State in January where he was the program’s director of player personnel. Now, he’s coming back to Alabama where he earned his MBA.

Bush worked for Saban from 2011-14 as a football operations and recruiting specialist. He helped Alabama land the nation’s No. 1 recruiting classes in 2012 and 2013. Bush also had a direct role in recruiting former Alabama stars Derrick Henry, Ryan Anderson, Ar’Darius Stewart and Cyrus Jones.
