I don't think it was a courageous move at all. The right move, yes. But not courageous. Hell, it seemed every other post popping up on my Facebook feed during the game called for Tua to be put in because Hurts just wasn't getting it done.

Frankly, I wonder why Tua wasn't playing sooner.

I agree with this, Tua should've had meaningful playing time before the other night. Saban put a bunch of pressure on this kid without totally preparing him for that HUGE stage. Saban pretty much said "Here's your chance kid, we're down 13-0 and we've got a half of football left, good luck" Title game is not ideal time you want this, but thank goodness Tua was able to answer that huge pressure!

Who knows though, not getting playing time might of left more unknown without more Tua film to study. We'll never know, will we?
