I got the impression in the second half that the referees became scared shitless of the Bama players. There should have been no less than 2 Bama players ejected for egregious unsportsmanlike like penalties that occurred in the direct site of an official and he turned his head. They were going to let the players do whatever they wanted. I don’t know if the crowd got to them or they had players threatening them on the field but they became pussified to call anything in the second half
