I don’t know what yards of offense means under Tuscaloosa impressive meter. People get a boner over Clemson and they lost to Syracuse. The badgers manhandled all the “Syracuse’s” on their schedule at least

There is Effing way if Alabama played the same schedule and had the exact same performances including the number one defense in the country statistically (stats are for losers) as Wisconsin did this year that they would be number 5 in the country. They would be number one at 12-0. I have no doubt about that. And I bet most people on here would say the same thing

Think that is only after both Ohio State and Miami. Alabama's SOS will be better again after they play Clemson. But, I do agree, Wisconsin definitely would have been ranked #1 or #2 if they were Ohio State, Alabama, USC, Michigan, etc. However, most of the "how good is the team" metrics that don't pay attention to jersey names had them around #6/#7 too, so there is something to the fact that they still weren't playing quite as well. It wasn't entirely "jersey name".

Takes nothing away from them, though. Very, very good team.
