Let’s try this again...

KSU was up on OU 21-10 at the half.

OU gave up 35 points them and had to throw a TD with :07 left for the win.

Final 42-35

They lost to Vandy for fricks sake but took OU down to the end.

Doesn’t really mean much. There are a million variables that could have played out for KSU to nearly beat OU. I mean look at all that we r into us losing to Auburn that first time. All of those things played out just bad enough for us and it looked like a dominating performance.

Score doesn’t tell the whole story.

Really? Doesn’t mean much?

Gave up 412 yards to a team that lost to Vandy and had to win on a last second td.
Turnover margin was even as well.

Our loss to auburn was a dropped TD, missed FG and 4 personal foul penalties that extended drives to the #6 team who got as high as #2 team and beat Bama.

Awesome... we still have to play a football game. Don’t know why you’re so obsessed with determining the outcome ahead of time.

I will be the happiest person in the stadium if we beat OU because very few, if any people there have the hatred of OU I do. I’ll just wait to talk until after the game.

Determining the outcome ahead of time is the point leading up to any game. Do you even know sports?

How is it negative for him to say wait for the game to be played?

He's not saying we're bound to lose. Just that comparisons and digging for little hints at what might happen are a waste of time.

The point is to get excited to see your team in the rose bowl.

Yeah cause the point of sports is to determine the outcome of the game during the game.

Lost all hope in this board.

Let’s go back to discussing the last time Fowler called our game or who has been a long time lurker.

Or keep up this lively conversation about the Cactus Bowl!

We have our local dimwit here to breakdown and analyze what regular season games between OU-KSU and KSU-Vandy will mean for the Dawgs in Pasadena!

Not a big fan of the whole transitive property theory
BUT I do think there's something to conference trends
in bowl games depending on circumstances.Let's see what
happens with Mizzou and Texas tomorrow. If Mizzou lays
a big number on em then I think we might have good reason to favor our matchup with OU a little better.

I was eyeing that one tomorrow to continue my whole transitive property theories.

However, OU was up before he half and probably pulled all of their starters. So, no comparisons can be drawn. Null and void.

Texas will be missing 6 starters tomorrow just FWIW.

The best sporting event I’ve ever been to in my life (2006 Rose Bowl) had people determining the outcome of the game beforehand.

You can be excited and see their weaknesses and talk thoroughly about what to expect in the game which should lead to a more fun game watching experience. The transitive property crap doesn’t do anything for me, personally. I’ll stop crapping on your threads though and just let you continue with your points.

It’s just weird to me, because it’s not even like your smack talking another team’s fans though. It almost feels as if you’re telling yourself this to make yourself less nervous about the game.

3 out bc they’re going pro (1 of those is injured as well).

3 starters/guys who get significant playing time are out due to a team violation.

One more had a head injury, but as of now looks like he’s probable.

Is what you're trying to accomplish.

That is retarded.
