quote:

Hurst Hurst said Bryan McClendon brings a "sense of confidence" to the offense. Hurst believes it will be "good for everybody" to have a new voice leading the group.

From Hale McGranahan's twitter account.

It's a telling quote. Let's see if it proves true because BMac has been Hurst's position coach, right?

Well damn. I'm getting old.

Anyways

quote:

Hayden Hurst, when asked if someone tried to talk him into sitting out the bowl: “I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I sat out a game if I was fully healthy and able to compete.”

I'm pulling for BMac to prove himself

If I like what I see in the bowl game, I will hire him as OC

I've learned with painful experience to take what the players say about other players or coaches with a pail bucket full of salt....

Normally so do I but Hurst is a little older and wiser so I take what he says with less salt.
