I think they already know who it is. Just keeping quiet on it. Bo had Bumper Pool on his show yesterday. Bo asked him straight up if Morris has already hired one. He said "well I have pretty good idea of who it is. The fans are gonna be excited."

It’s obvious that if it is Chavis, he’s waiting for the bowl game Dec 29th to conclude and Fisher to make it official he isn’t retaining him paying him his buyout money.
This is key because he has a fully guaranteed deal for $1.6 mil and he signed an extension in August.
He wants that money and A&M to pay him if they don’t want him which makes a ton of sense especially considering if he left for another SEC program (Arkansas) they would be on the hook for the 1.6 mil buyout.
Whatever Chavis' contact is here would be split year one.

No I just think it's stupid as frick if we're waiting when the world knows he won't be at A&M next season.
Don't try and church up a hire like chavis and hide that because of a "buyout" and even if this were the case it makes it look more stupid. And if there is one, why the frick would we pay extra for him? Sounds like a waste of money.
I'm done arguing though. If this is who you want then cool. I've said before none of us even have the choice, but don't like the fact that we have TONS of interest, but we can't say chavis due to a possible but out.
