No. Not at all. he's only recruited about 4 guys total, he has 0 for this cycle. His strongest recruiting move was to get the QB from Boise St, that he didn't recruit in the first place, to transfer to NC St when he got the job there.
I actually posed that question to JC over at 247, if he wasn't able to plug and play a QB who already new his system in when he got to NC St would we even be talking about this guy because theres no way they have the success this year without it.

So we are continuing to hear about this Drinkwitz guy on 247. He and Dan Werner are the only one's being discussed on there. Also, there was mention that even if he doesn't get the OC job, that Werner has been looked at for a position coach in case BMac decides to head elsewhere if he's not given the OC
