sorry hit submit too early.

have 4 credits . trying to figure out what to buy. I am in to crime mysteries and pretty much everything except really sci fi stuff. I often enjoy books that are or will become movies to watch and compare. Let me know yall's thoughts. Thanks

Try the Bernie Gunther series by Phillip Kerr. It's a noir style crime series that is set in Nazi Berlin. HBO is rumored to be making a new series based on this series of novels.

The first novel is called March Violets.

Outstanding series.

When I would get free credits, I would look for good ratings and sort by length. More bang for the buck.

Some suggestions.

If you're into WWII... The Rise and Fall of the Third Riech

If you're into Vietnam... Matterhorn

Count of Monte Cristo
A Short History of Nearly Everything
Dracula
Dune
Altered Carbon (Netflix series coming out in February)
Old Man's War

-Pillars of the Earth trilogy
-The Stand
-Any of the Bernard Cornwell book series (Arthur, Utrid, etc...) but especially any narrated by Jonathon Keeble.

I’ve enjoyed Steve Martini books on audible.

Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King was a great listen. Narrator is fantastic.

And there are 2 more in the series if you end up liking that one.

I just finished The Spider Network.

"The Wild Story of a Math Genius, a Gang of Backstabbing Bankers, and One of the Greatest Scams in Financial History"

I thought it was great, although the narrator's voice was a bit robotic.
