Kevin Sumlin had 3 years of 8-5 then followed it up with 7-5. That ain't a success when you play 3 gimmies a year. He was basically .500 vs below avg to great teams. This has nothing to do with Saban or anyone else. It has to do with a standard above mediocrity.
