Football is a zero sum game. Comparing conferences by records is pointless until bowl games are played.

I can agree with this on the overall best team.
But the question is about the opinion the SEC is not a super power conference compared to the others

Great point....look at last year when everyone ridiculed Big 12 Defenses but during the bowls they allowed the fewest PPG of all conferences, although that has probably more to do with match-ups than anything.
