Eleven years ago, I sat on this board and read thread after thread explaining why Alabama was a "has been". They were a thing of the past, living precariously on the memories of a deceased head coach who could never be replaced in the modern era. Why couldn't Bama fans get their heads out of the clouds (or out of their asses depending on the poster) and accept the mediocrity? I originally saved dozens of those threads to use later for steaming dishes of crow, but fate killed my hard drive.
