Probably Fat Phil just likes Steele. Maybe Steele will let fat Phil hire the assistants. Someone he can control. Or maybe he just has him up there to try to hire as an assistant.

I've seen and heard Vol fans suggesting a Les Miles/Tee Martin/Kevin Steele combination. No way Les Miles lets Fulmer dictate his coordinators to him.
I had a long time Vol supporter and season ticket holder tell me that Tee isn't getting any serious consideration for HC in part because of an 11 Wonderlich score and the fact that he's not the best guy in front of a microphone.
