It's not like richt hasn't had similar teams as this (1 loss, playoff contention) but this team sure FEELS different than a richt team.

Richt got screwed though in terms of competing for a national title
If Smart was coaching in the Richt days, he wouldnt be in the title game either this year....
UGA would have made the semi finals in 2002, 2007, and possibly even 2012.
