First it was the Bear and now Saban. LSU has a lot of reason to hate Alabama. Even if you're an older fan it's all you've ever known is Bama reeling off some ridiculous winnpercentage against LSU. I do think over time a lot of the older fans came to respect Bryant. I don't think Saban due to his LSU ties will ever be truly respected.

We didn’t lose to Alabama the entire time I was in college, but I’ve been rooting for Alabama my whole life, so even this seven game losing streak doesn’t make me feel different.

Really? I don't hear anyone saying they hate Saban. It's definitely respect, for bringing us out of the 90s and you have to admire what he's done at bama. But we hate the bama winning thing, that isn't something we're ever going to embrace.
