What matters more to be in the playoff, Best win or Worse loss?

I guess the way the polls were before yesterdays games now means who goes, Alabama or Ohio State correct?
So now we are choosing between these two teams, argument seems to be better wins vs worst losses.
Which one matters to the you? How do you compare these two teams?
Me, I don't care to see Bama make it because they didn't have to play the extra game in the Conference Championship, but when I compare them to Ohio State with it's two bad losses in my mind I have to go with Bama. This is my opinion, what's yours?

If it was 8 teams then Alabama absolutely should be there. But it's not you have to reward the teams that actually played and won the extra game to be crowned conference champ with only 4 teams making it.

Bad losses should always outweigh good wins. Especially when you get stomped by 31 points by an unranked team in early Nov.
