who do you want?
upvote Tee (since he's a Vol)
downvote Leslie (since he has a girl's name, even though he has actually beaten Saban in the last 11 years)

I am sorry but this thread is stupid. An either/or when realistically isn't a good question.

Of the two options presented, give me the Mad Hatter. The guy can coach. In my personal opinion, Tee Martin will be a great HC some day, and I hope to sweet baby Jesus it's at Tennessee. However, I can't handle watching him fail, which he very well might do. Tennessee is going to hurt from this, one way or another. The recruiting scene is a huge question mark, and team morale is totally messed up. I would rather bring in Leslie Miles and let him mop up the mess while Tee gets some good experience under his belt.

What is Al Wilson doing these days, that man willed us to the MNC in 1998.

You need to listen to Big Al's interview on Swain's show from earlier today. Dude is still straight fire!

The most important thing he said:
Swain: What kind of coach does Tennessee need to get back on top?
Al: We need a coach who gives a Damn about Tennessee.
Absolutely Perfect Answer

Are there any indications out there that Phil would pursue Leslie Miles?

I disagree
I think it's gonna be Leslie, and I think he is a good choice
Tenn has some decent talent & Les can recruit
he can also win 9 or 10 games in the SEC East in a hurry
and he has beaten Saban in the last 11 years
great band aid if nothing else
stabilizes the program & stops the bleeding
Vols can count on being respectable at least & maybe he fricks up and grazes his way into an SEC Championship
if not, he retires gracefully in 3 or 4 years & Vols look for a quality coach from a position of strength
and do it without any drama inducing media leaks and Grumors
