This is not nearly as bad as it could have been for Ole Miss right? Freeze is the big winner, and the Rebs will hemorrhage talent until after 2018, but after next year's season they will essentially be back to business as usual?

That's what the OP said...back to mediocrity.

Also, it'll take them a couple years to build back up after the sanctions end

Well they will have no good players and a bad coach. So yes that is Ole Miss back to usual.
