Ones I am positive of...
1. GM, If he say's yes by a specific date, he is it..
Doesn't make me greatly happy, but I will deal with it.
The melt of Aubbie alone is funny enough for joy, and he
Would knock it out of the park in recruiting at first.2
2. Norvell, I love this dude... His offense is awesome, and he can recruit like gangbusters in TX...
3. Morris, Meah! I like him ok...
4. Kiffen, contacted by booster or perhaps BOT, not acting AD.. Dang It!
5. Leach... Meah! not bad, just odd...
6. Venables... Meah! see above... no real experience as HC
who else.
7. Tom Allen, as per Pigfeet...

I’m down with any of those but Kiffin and Venables. Lane has had a great year at FAU and did good things as OC under Saban but I still think he’s a risky hire considering how he left Tennessee & USC. I’m concerned many are just caught up in his “great guy” factor. Didn’t we just have one of those coaches?
Venables could be a great hire but first question I ask is why hasn’t he been a HC? I remember his name being tossed about when we hired Bobby P and Venables still hasn’t held a head coaching job.

I just want someone who will make the fans excited again. I was glad that they were playing, but I would lose interest quickly.

I have been told by numerous sources that Charlie has not been contacted, because Charlie let it be known several times that he is not interested in Arkansas.

GM was the first contacted, prior to CBB being let go. as per EVERY FREAKING HOG FAN ON THE PLANET!
Norvell... as per the son of a media member, and another source who lives in Memphis and has a family member in the A Dept at uofa!
Morris, cant verify.. however a friend in TX said he done seen it. lol
Kiffen... a very wealthy donor contacted Lane and gave the info to a BOT member
Leach... Cant verify other than on other person who said leach reached out.. a phone call, via agent
Venables... as per this board..

I honestly want the lane train, but hopefully if we are waiting on Gus that he comes. I hope he hits it out of the park if he is the guy though. I just want to win.
