What some of you idiots are proposing is flat out stupid. They're not going to fire him now. They get nothing out of it and will risk having to pay Jimbo some form of buyout (good luck proving rumors in court).

But wait, I thought the Texas boosters were going to step in and pay the money to keep Fisher at FSU...repaying the favor from 2013.

The Occam's Razor explanation is:
1) Preparing (at least deciding IF they will) a counter offer to see if they can keep Jimbo
and / or
B) Setting up parameters and strategies for a future coaching search in the (likely) event that Jimbo is going.

where does my post discuss any of the scenarios (buyouts etc) you projected?
It doesn't: "mitigation discovery and planning out actions on several situations"

People remember A&M and Chavis being a bunch of bitches and bringing LSU to court instead of paying what they owed.
That was for far less than $7 million
