Fisher is a good coach but FSU is a Championship program. Bowden did more than Fisher, then he got old and lost his touch. Fisher took them back to where they belong. He didn’t invent FSU.

What the hell kind of logic is this? By your reckoning, then, the following are currently in the same class as Jimbo Fisher:

Nick Saban
Urban Meyer
Bob Stoops
Mack Brown
Lou Holtz
etc.

All resurrected "championship" programs.

Well Saban and Meyer have done it at two places so that kind of separates them; though Meyer did it at 2 places that had relative recent success. He did raise Utah from scratch. Saban, specially at LSU did it somewhere that had not been done in a long time.

I don't recall the others how long it was but the point is relative recent times. Minnesota, Army and others won a lot of hardware in the early 1900’s. Someone establishes something there he is inventing it pretty much from scratch.

Miami was down recently but they had a great run as recent as the early 2000. FSU, Florida.. down now but we know it can be done there. Not easy for sure, it isn’t anywhere, but we’ve seen it. That's the point.
