He broke an Auburn lineman's jaw with a punch in a team meeting. That was 20 years ago but he was still fairly old I think. Beginning of the end for the Terry Bowden regime.

My favorite Jenkins story was when James Johnson wanted to sign with us out of JUCO in '97, and Bowden told Jenkins "he doesn't fit our offense". Jenkins said, "Why the hell not? Is he too big? Too fast? Too strong?"
(Johnson went on to sign with MSU and kick our asses up and down the field for the next two years)
