for some World Class duck hunting. Need some rain and another cold snap, but the ducks are coming in at a decent pace.

Need more water big time.
We have a well and had to pump our place (L’Anguille River bottoms) up for several weeks until opening day. River is way down, same as last year.

I sometimes forget that we have reservoirs and water all year, have been hearing it’s rough in quite a few places.

Our club is usually fine because we have a well, but there are places all around us that solely rely on the river flooding the bottoms in order to have water. A few places near us were bone dry last year. Two years ago it was over my head in front of our main blind, this year it’s prob calf deep.
We haven’t had ‘normal’ water levels for about 4 years now. Either seems to be Noah’s Flood part II or the Sahara Desert.

Flooded a field, have a decent flooded timber hole from some helpful beavers(first time I’ve never complained about the frickers) that I’m yet to try out but the woodies fly it pretty well already. We need a cold snap though.
