Our offensive identity, gameplan and play calling need to play more to our stengths, instead of subjecting us to our OL's & QB's weaknesses. Use perimeter, stretch and misdirection runs, screens, swing passes, quick short & intermediate throws, rollout rpos, slight delay release of RB to vacated area for easy throws & yac, etc. That stuff has worked well -- it keeps us ahead in the chains, sustains drives AND helps open up the inside running game too.

I think the amount of passing and lack of running back carries was the staff trying to attack Auburn’s weakness, which is their secondary, as opposed to attacking their front 7.

I just don’t think we have the pass blocking and style of QB to do that, at least not with the execution level they had last night.
