There was never a visit set up, not sure what hes talking about. Straight from a 247 mod:

It wasn't cancelled as it was never on the books. He may have wanted to come in but they were never going to add another WR official this weekend with Marshall and Watkins in town. It's why I said it wouldn't happen on Monday or Tuesday when it got brought up.

Interesting. I always felt like State made the most sense for him with Thompson there anyway. State could have an excellent WR class coming in that could help immediately next season if he does, in fact, flip.

I think they feel like they have watkins and marshall locked up and dont want to mess that up. Also they arent recruiting haris his teammate at all

Devonta has been an issue this entire cycle. LSU already has Kennan and looks like they’ll land Marshall and possibly Watkins and I know they’re going to put s full court press on Jamar Chase. We really don’t have much more room for WR’s.

Yeah, I didn't really know the backstory. Just saw what the kid said and figured it was interesting. Looking like he'll be a Bulldog then.

I think y’all landing Thompson out of Landry Walker last year is going to help y’all out a ton.

If LSU made him a priority they could have landed him. Apparently we slow played him though, i think that’s going to be a big mistake. Kid has incredible ball skills. Harris is a solid CB prospect as well and i think y’all land him. That one is strictly a numbers thing at DB.

He decommitted from LSU and committed to Kansas. Not sure the coaches ever had him back on their WR board after that BS move.

LSU can't develop QBs or WR's , so I don't know why he would go there anyways

I mean, Landry and OBJ would disagree. Mississippi State hasn't had a viable NFL WR since Eric Moulds.

Yeah the number one WR and CB in the country take precedence over Jason and Harris.
