Nineteen Eighty MFing Nine baby. 11-0. I was there. Patrick Nix to Frank Sanders. Most amazing energy I have ever felt ever. There was NO WAY Bama was winning that game. They came in 10-0 and knew stepping off the bus, they were not going to win. The JHS energy was that strong.

‘89 cemented my college choice. Cool story.....

My brother and I went to the game to watch from a tailgate. Dude I have never seen before or since walks in and asks us if we are going to the game. Nope. We are just watching. Same guy walks back in at kickoff and hands us two tickets. Awesome.

Dude, Nix to Sanders was 1993.

1989 Iron Bowl team had Reggie Slack throwing to Ace Wright with Stacy Danley and James Joseph pounding Bama into submission with a nifty TD added by Lectron Williams.
