Well he won the PAC 10 a couple of times when USC was being punished because of Reggie Bush! &
He got to the BCS when it was Auburns turn to win it!

Don't forget Harbaugh and Luck were in the Pac12 at that time. Not like the Pac-12 had no one in it.

He also got a show-cause for his efforts and left the program on a downward spiral once tGOAT QB left.
Downward spiral?
They went to another national title game the next year.
Don't follow football much do you.

Chip Kelly went 2-2 against Stanford during his time as Oregon's head coach. Just FTR, he didn't do that well against them.

He was also 1-2 vs. SEC teams and 2-2 in bowl games. Again, not that good.

Lost his first year, beat them twice in blow outs
Then lost in triple overtime.
So once again..LSU fan's don't watch a lot of football.

Kellys worst losses at Oregon were to Stanford, Auburn, LSU, Arizona and Oregon State. All those teams had big, strong defenses and speed on the front line on defense. That's what he will face against in SEC play weekly.

With lesser talent.
Want to know ED O's record before LSU?
Want to talk bad. I mean very...very bad.

So in other words, he went 2-2 against Stanford. Jesus fricking Christ.

He's going to have to rebuild Florida, something he didn't have to do at Oregon, where he inherited the program that Mike Belloti built.

When your AD hires a coach with a 10-25 career record, you truly shouldn’t be talking crap about Chip Kelly.
Should have fired the AD before doing any hiring of an HC. Also the way Miles situation was proof of AD did a poor job of handling the situation. That is a red flag for an AD and then hiring Ed Orgeron. That might still worked out for LSU but let wait and see how next year go. Any slip up would hurt LSU big time!

I did not remember the Pac 12 was one of the best conference that time and had very good UCLA, USC, and Stanford. I believe they were not that high up in the rankings.

You do not know that for sure until coach O. gets his 3 year at LSU. I am betting Barry Odom will do very well at MIZZOU. I said give him 3 years and then 5 years to get back to compete for the SEC east division.

That is true, but this isn't a rebuild of massive extent. Isn't like Florida was a 4 win team for five years. We won the East twice, and have a year were we literally have 34 players out from suspension or injury.
WHile he did take over for Bell, so it would be different installing a new system. It shouldn't be that hard overall. Florida has a ton of high school talent who run similar spread styles, and his system is pretty simple to install. Just about getting the proper athletes in. QB wise he may just go Toney. He played QB in high school, so he knows the basics at least. Won't be elite, but could function a offense better than what we have now I think.

I think it is more telling where Oregon has been without Chip Kelly and Wisconsin without Bret Bielema, though. Oregon went damn near in the cellar and Wisky is still top 10...
But Michigan and OSU and PSU were all down for a while that time. Also Wisconsin is in the easy division and get away with it. That is the same for SEC east!

2009 - Boise State(L) - 14th, Cal(6) W - USC(4) - W Oregon State(13) W Ohio STate(8) L So 3-2 vs ranked teams year 1
2010 - Stanford(9) W - USC(24) W - Arizona(21) W Auburn(1) L 3-1 vs ranked teams
2011 - LSU(4) L - ASU(18) W - Stanford(3)- W USC(18) L Wisconsin(9) W 3-2 vs ranked teams
2012- Arizona(22) W - Washington(23) W - USC(18) W STanford(14) L - Oregon State(16) W - Kansas State (5) W 5-1 vs ranked teams
So at Oregon he was 14-6 vs ranked teams. Only one loss to a teamnot ranked(Stanford year one). I went off wikipedia not sure if those were at the time of the game or final standings rankings though.
He only lost to one team who recruited less talent then him(Stanford year one) as well. He lost to teams who had elite talent, and he had less. Auburn, LSU, Ohio State. Stanford last year had Luck and three five star lineman on offense alone.
Basically. If he has even talent..he can beat anyone. Oregon was just a tougher place to recruit than UF.

If Frost had taken the Oregon job they would be a force again for sure.
