Wait a minute...you guys work together, in the same office, and he didn't know you were a bama fan? Really?
The first question I ask a candidate is if they are, or have ever been, a bama fan. If they say yes, I inform them that the interview is over...have a nice life. If they say no, I ask them if they're sure.
When did you become a bama fan??? Sorry, have to ask.
