If you see my uncle Andy or cousin Nathan, definitely lock your doors and drive the other way. Valley is one sad place. The mills closing really devestated much of that area. Thank god my mom left there when she finished HS or I coulda been stuck in that same east Alabama/West Ga area.

I have fond memories of fishing on “the backwater” of the lake as a kid with my Tide loving pawpaw (he like many didn’t even finish HS much less go to Bama).
