It could change with additional losses in the remaining weeks, but notre dames' resume' of wins might be better than any conference championship game winner (the impressive part being that they don't have that extra opportunity to get another quality opponent )

I disagree only because November is a great schedule for big games. We just saw OU vs OKST and now they still have a top 10 TCU and WVU.
Miami has ND home this weekend which would eliminate ND if they win and even if they do not the loss does not affect Miami in the conference. Clemson winning the ACC even over a 1 loss Miami in their CG looks better the last weekend then ND who did not play. ND last game is against Stanford on 11/25 who may drop out of the rankings if they can not beat Washington this Friday.
The winner of the Mich State OSU game this weekend will play an undefeated Wisc and I think Wisc has a chance with the way the other two have looked to go undefeated.
