re: UCF 31 vs SMU 24 - Final

I've already listed my top choices. I think there's several experienced coaches out there that UF can get that actually know what they are doing. I've never, ever settled on a girlfriend. I always went after the best. I do not believe UF has to settle ever. We should have pride in ourselves and get out of the gutter. I do not believe we are some poor schleps waiting by the phone. I damn sure don't think we should gamble on this next hire. All these 1, 2, 3 year coaches are huge gambles. If you aim high, you'll never shoot your foot. Our 2 best coaches should be a blueprint. SOS and UM both had EXPERIENCE. Haven't we learned by now?

I'll support any coach UF hires BUT if it's another inexperienced, unproven one, I'll remain nonchalant, apathetic, like I have the last decade. I'll hope we succeed, but, I'll know we've settled again and most likely (odds are) it will fail eventually. Why should I care for the program more than the administration? If they are willing to take another chance on some hotshot, I damn sure won't be taking chances with my money.
