The offense -- in spite of not having Toney or Davis looks much better and yes, Zaire looks like he's far more comfortable than Franks.

He didn't have a stellar game, but he still outperformed Franks through three games and without the best playmakers even on the field.

If we can't run the ball, we need to produce those yards through a mobile quarterback. Many plays bust and Zaire makes lemonade when he can.

Franks doesn't check down, he doesn't read the field, has no pocket awareness, can't read the defense, seems to be unable to see clear, wide open receivers and ultimately: Is a sitting duck.

If we had Toney, Callaway, Davis and Cleveland on the field at the same time, I think Franks could do wonders, especially with that arm. We could keep the defense off-balance.

But when 3 out of those 4 guys are either injured or out, there is no hope for this offense outside of what Zaire can do with his legs. Period.

Well we can put to bed that it was all Franks fault for us losing games. This team is poorly coached up and it shows all over the field. Special teams is the worst I've ever seen at UF, ever. The offense was always horrible but now everything else is bad as well.

I was surprised Malik made several poor reads on the option. He kept when he should have handed the ball off, handed it off when he should have kept. He made a lot of poor reads today. It's going to take several weeks to get this program going in the right direction. I'm not sure if it will be in time to beat UAB even.
