Which coach suits our incoming class the best?

Is Corral a spread kind of guy that can suit Frost or Mullen? Or is he more of a pocket passer? What about the rest of the class?

They say Corral is a Pocket Passer but every highlight I've seen of him shows him running at least once or twice on naked boot legs or even read-options.
I think he can do whatever, whether it be from shotgun or under center.
For the offense, as it is, we have the speed to run the spread, but we don't have the line to run a pro-style.
On defense: Just get depth, scheme wise I don't know how much better we could do with all the youth and depth issues.
Frost or Campbell could make it work, for sure.

Campbell suits him the most of the legit options I suspect.
I would like to see Leach with that level of talent.
Holy crap...it would be over.

If Leach got ahold of Corral, my God.
And the speed of the state of Florida for recruits.
Man, he might be a great pick, too.

For offense we have Kiffin who would bring instant offense imo and could implement an element of spread/pro styles.
I wouldn't throw out pro style at all.
Campbell? At Iowa State? You are kidding...right? Did you watch his tepid offense tonight...awful. Even the defense got gashed and if TCU had not been a flag (11 of them) and turnover machine...they would have beaten ISU easily imo.
Campbell wouldn't last more than 3 years here....decent coach with limited talent...but not at UF. Next.

He is at Iowa State....vs TCU
Verse one of the best defensive minds in football. Second to Saban I'd say.
At Iowa State
With a freshman QB.
Beat twp top five teams

If we got Leach my brain would explode with the happiness I'd feel inside.
He needs a good DC though for sure. I think with Davis he would run it far more often as well. You can't not use Davis.

I don’t think we should hire a coach around a in coming recruit who may not even end up coming here. I think with the current players we have And even with Corral , Kiffin is the best fit. He won a championship ship at Bama with a average at best passer with no mobility and had 2 athletes playing QB at Bama that had crazy stats for guys that everyone knew couldn’t pass. Leachs offense would also be a good fit .

I remember Meyer and Mullen trying to make Leak a spread QB in 2005...horrible results. Leak hated contact and the next year they went to more of a pro look with Leak and Timmy Tebow as true frosh would come in situations where short yardage was needed. That of course worked.

Same with Muschamp trying to pro style Drisk.
You can't put a square peg a round hole.
Either way. Next coach can't be about the next class. I think Frost is intelligent enough to adapt his offense to work in a more pro style format than it did at Oregon so he could make it work. Not as sure on Taggart. Norvell is such a blah hire to me I pray that doesn't happen.
Frost...Frost..Frostttttt
You know...or Leach(or KellY). Seem more like pipe dreams though.

i'm with you guys on leach, kelly and kiffin. i just don't see the admin hiring them.
i'm also a fan of mullen, but don't think he wants to come here. he's about to raise the level of recruiting in starkville over the next few years. starting to get elite11 type dual-threat qbs.
i talk frost and campbell because i think those are two of the realistic candidates. i'm guessing strick isn't gonna hire mullen away from his alma mater or hire a coach with any baggage, perceived or not.
i would love to have kiffin here. does he have anything illegal in his track record? i don't think so, maybe something minor like every other coach who's been around. seems like he just dgaf about authority is all, but i don't think strick would hire him.

Agree. Frost will score 35 a game here year one.
Id bet on it.
Him with Davis, toney, Cleveland. My God.

Doubt we hear anything real for a month. Unless Stoops or Kelly.
