You guys didn't need to even give him a buy out or a salary comparable to coaches with proven success. He would have accepted payment in gumbo and jumbalaya, but nope, you gave him the farm.

You should be much more worried about a coach that deflects fans away from him by making up stories about how him his staff and his players are receiving death threats
