This can include Mac if you think he deserves another year obviously. Try to make them realistic and not nonsense like Gruden. Just seeing who the fans want.

1. Bob Stoops - May be a pipe dream but he has coached here, and may miss coaching and going back to Oklahoma isn't a real option. Proven winner, and it's a bit easier to recruit here so he could get even stronger classes than he had at OU with more skill players.

2. Mike Leach - Obvious

3. Scott Frost - While he is the least proven on my list he just seems like a great hire. KNows both sides of the ball, has done amazing work in shot time at UCF, and knows the state recruiting grounds

4. Lane Kiffin - I know I know. Just have the feeling. Has the swag, the recruiting talent, and the offensive moxie. I think it's a risk, but the reward could be incredible.

5. Dan Mullen - He has proven he can win in the SEC. Don't know if he would fit at UF attitude wise which is why he is lower. Guy is kind of a dick. Still. We damn sure know he could put a strong offense on the field yearly.

1. Mac- for the sake of the program. I think we're in a rebuild, and with some staff adjustments and getting some of those suspended players back/being able to prepare for an entire offseason without them will make a big difference. The program is better now than when he took over and I want to see it through with him. He's starting to make me worry he doesn't want to be here, and if that's the case, it's better for the program if he is gone.

2. Bob Stoops- obvious connections, yearly contender, etc.

3. Justin Fuente (not sure how realistic this is though with his $6 mil buyout)

4. Scott Frost/Willie Taggart

5. Mike Leach- I love him and I'd love it if we hired him, but don't think we will be interested.

Bonus: make Chip Kelly say no

Scott Frost - I think he's Chip Kelly, but younger, more energetic and actually seems to care about recruiting.

Mike Leach - Aerial Assault Guru who would blow it up with UF talent imo.

Mike Gundy - Ship may have sailed, heard he was the 2nd choice behind Mac years ago. I could only imagine if he came instead of Mac where our offense would be. Certainly not in the 100's.

Thats my top 3 as far as guys with some experience as HC's. Young guys who i'd think could do well here due to having youth and swagger, something i feel that UF needs right now. A big fkn shot in the arm.
Kiffin - trust issues for me, if he's all in. its a good hire. Would be a recruiting monster imo
Fleck - energetic guy, but that said. I'd grow real tired of the rah rah if it wasnt showing results on the field. Same with Boom with all of his antics on the sidelines.
Spavital - Has done well with QB's lately, Grier his latest project.
Kingsbury - Big Daddy Kool Kliff, swagger for days, every QB he touches is in the top 5 scoring/yards. A younger Mike Leach.

1 Strong
2 Kiffin
3 Dantonio
4 Kelly
5 Taggert

Strong is a no brainer. He should have been coach a long time ago. I think Kiffin is going to win big his next stop. Those are my 1a and 1b. I really don't want anyone else after those 2. Dantonio will most likely end up in USCe one day but he's the one coach that knows how to win with 2 and 3 stars. He'd be my 3rd choice but I don't see him coming to UF, but you never know. Not real high on Kelly or Taggert but beggers can't always be choosers.

We MUST get a head coach with EXTENSIVE HC experience. No more experiments. Frost is an experiment. We need guys with proven HC experience at several schools and at least 1 major program, not these flash in the fricking pans. Didn't we learn enough with Zook, Muschamp and McElwain?

I think better at smaller program. Like Mac actually. Texas seemed to overwhelm him.

Strong is running a spread offense at USF. Their offense has scored at least 30+ points per game for like the last 3 years (credit Taggert) and lead CFB in that regard. Strong was running spread at UT as well.

Gatorbait - you may be right. Strong has had more success at UL and USF, so maybe not so much at a bigger school but he really never had a chance at UT and that team was horrible when Mack Brown left the cupboard bare. Strong is a good disciplinarian which I think we've needed for the last decade. Too many off field stuff and in game stupid penalties. Strong's teams don't shoot themselves in the foot much. He's the one coach that has coached at a school at the level of UF in UT and him like Kiffin have a lot to prove to haters which mean they both will work tirelessly to win.

If I was Florida, I’d be looking to the school in Orlando with a lot of interest. Scott Frost is doing work at UCF and that offense would be money at UF.

McElwain is coaching at Florida next year unless UF loses out. Not a good thread, sorry.

No easy wins on our schedule going forward by what we've seen on the field. I'd love to win em all by 20 but I see we could drop over half of them. If we are embarrassed by UGA, play close with UAB -God forbid we lose this one- and lose to FSU, it will get testy in Gainesville

The story holds no merit at this time. It’s fabricated bullshite. However, there are planned changes.
