You see where he made his Offensive players do Up Downs during the game on the sidelines for going 3 n Out on consecutive drives?

Pretty cool

I'd love Leach here but there's no way we'd hire him between his crazy personality and the locking a guy in a closet thing.

I think he's hilarious but people without a sense of humor would call him a buffoon, make up nicknames about him, and generally be miserable throughout his tenure at UF, especially if he didn't go 15-0 every single season.

If Mac ends up fired or leaving..

I want him so badly. His personality is Gator. Score a ton, run it up, and take no shite.

Would be amazing to see him on our sidelines. I would want to see a little more balance offensively to adjust to SEC style play, but he would be able to utilize players like Davis, Massey, Toney, Cleveland far, far better than Mac has and I don't think anyone would actually disagree with that statement.

Stop the nonsense...we would NEVER hire him nor should we. Put his arse in the SEC and watch how many 4-8 seasons he'd have. Defense isn't optional in the SEC. Pac 12 is soft as Charmin.

His defense isnt bad. Shut out Colorado this past week and held down Heisman hopeful USC QB earlier

Cmon Reel, lets use some common sense here. If our defense was all of the players that they have at Wazzou, we'd be dead last in the SEC. 4-5 star defensive players dont go to T-Tech and Wazzou. Scheme means nothing if your LB cant catch their stud RB.

Take two kids same age, different ability. Put the more athletic kid in space with the ball and tell the other kid to tackle him. Let me know how that turns out. By all means, coach up the defender all you want. It wont matter.
Trust me, his QBs are walkons, his WRs usually dont have many other offers from schools to play, yet they usually lead the Nation in passing and scoring.

I don't necessarily want him at Florida (I think he'd be perfect at Ole Miss), but that stuff at Texas Tech was largely bullshite made up by an entitled a-hole.

LINK

The only reason he didn't win his lawsuit is because the State of Texas ruled that since Texas Tech is a state institution, they have immunity from lawsuits. Also a bunch of bullshite in my opinion.

I've seen that. I also read his autobiography he put out around this time, which is a great read.

That USA Today article was from just a few months ago and underscores that everything he claimed in the interview you posted has pretty much turned out to be true. Witnesses conflict with Adam James' account, and Craig James... where to start? Im sure he was completely clean when he was a part of the Pony Express at SMU. That guy has way more examples of his being a complete a-hole than has ever actually been pinned on Leach.

If Texas hadn't ducked behind institutional immunity, Texas Tech probably would have had to pay Leach out.

Stop. Same dumb shite we heard when Meyer came here. Same dumb shite everyone thought before Spurrier did fun and gun. Ole Miss seemed to do just fine despite far less talent with it. Arkansas was much better with the spread under Bobby. Leach can win anywhere, because he is an elite coach. His system is incredibly hard to defend.

It isn't about player personnel on defense...its the pass happy offense that doesn't work in the SEC.

Even in Spurrier years we had balance more than you think. Defense is why Bama is so damn tough...not offense.

I would take him over what we have now but I would prefer Scott Frost and Fuente . I think he would put up some big numbers next year with our players returning.
