Literally no one has predicted a UF victory here.
Sort of a ''We should have no chance but if our WR masquerading as a quarterback can beat 'em one year, why not Franks?''

I think what they are referring to are the few Florida posters that keep down playing the dominance of UGA right now. Personally, I think Florida keeps it close during the first half. The second half will be another story, UGA will likely run away with it. I'm thinking 38-17 UGA when the clock hits 00:00

Yep, depth on defense is just going to run us down -- and no one is downplaying Georgia per se, a lot of people are saying: Hold on before we start talking about National Titles and the like.
Georgia's a good defense, but Kirby walked into a great offense and a serviceable defense left behind Richt -- who could recruit but just didn't have the gameplan to win like Kirby is right now.
We'll probably lose this, and I'm not sure if we even get 17, I'd say something more along 24 - 10 UGA -- Florida runs the ball and tries to run the clock out, Georgia runs the ball and moves the chains enough and we have a short game on our hands with Florida gassing in the third and a half, fourth quarter.

I think this sentiment is shared, even with all the people on the UGA board. There only a few people who believe UGA is a lock for the SECCG and even fewer who believe they are already printing the Georgia CFB National Champs T-Shirts. The vast majority of fans maintain an optimistic outlook but expectations have been tempered, given the outcome of every UGA football season since 1981. I have high hopes for this UGA team and I hope they get a chance to prove themselves in the SECCG and the CFB Playoff, I guess only time will tell... Kirby does a good job of keeping those young men focused on the task at hand, for the next week or so, that task is Florida. May the better team win

Sorry dawg, but college football teams rarely go undefeated. The laws of nature will probably prevail and we upset you. Our defense can keep us in games in spite of the offense. Tryee Cleveland should be back and I would suggest DB backs set up up 20 yds downfield.
On paper UGA wins...but problem is that the game will be played on grass. The dawgs will be busy sniffing the ground.

You have that backwards. Kirby walked into a great defense and a serviceable offense.

serviceable offense.
You have 2 NFL RB's. that alone makes it more than serviceable. You only have a handful of guys starting on offense/Defense who are Kirby's guys.

At the time we had an awful oline, no WRs worth a damn or a qb on the roster who could make a play.
5 of the 11 starters on O are Kirby's.
Not sure if you know this but we play others besides the starters and a ton of those guys are Kirby's.

So your SRs and JRs can get a breather for the young guys without the units missing a beat? Got it
We start FR and SO players out of necessity. Thats the difference.

Nah, they play more snaps than just a breather.
Not sure why you are pointing out the differences. I never said anything about UF.

I am guessing 31-14 Georgia

20-17 winner or loser
I think this will be more like a typical Florida game this year than a typical Georgia game.

I am not sure who is down playing Georgia’s dominance right now. The look to be the most dominating team in the east for a few years . The only thing they have going against them is that they played the weaker half of their conference schedule .

Nobody is, but they are drinking the Koolaid way, way too early. Aside from a few Georgia fans who are mor sensible, of course.
This is the first year they're actually good, and they're all over the site reading everything -- couldn't be found after last year.
Even after our worst years we are always here.

I'm normally pessimistic coming into our game, but this year it is hard to make a case for this being a tight game outside of "its jacksonville".
Florida has a depleted roster that lacks the top end talent of a classic gator team. More importantly, Georgia is just a bad matchup for you guys. At this point, the best way to attack our defense appears to be accurate vertical passing. Franks has yet to show that capability. Even if Zaire gets the start, we have stoned several more talented dual threat guys already this year.
I would guess the gator gameplan is to shorten the game by leaning on the run and be opportunistic on defense, which plays directly into Georgia's strength.
It's hard for me to ever pick a blowout in a rivalry game, but I think dawgs win comfortably.

When would be a good time to drink the koolaid? We're 7-0 and dominating most of our opponents. Why not enjoy it while it lasts.
We've always been here. We have the 3rd largest fan base on this site. You're letting a few alters cloud your judgment.
And clearly others like to read other team boards or you wouldn't know about our thread.

UGAs gonna beat the shite out of this team. I'm expecting 38-7.

I'm half expecting that too.
But I saw Treon Harris throw 6 times, UF run for over 400+ yards, and Muschamp coaching that game, and blow out UGA...
Oddly enough, there are a ton of similarities between that 2014 game and this year's game, at least going in.

I see 28-17 with UGA scoring a late td to seal it. This is too weird of a rivalry to say we'll blow UF out.
