Join CMR in Miami? Back to the northwest?

Those are the obvious choices. Each are highly ranked and like to throw.

If he transfers I'd love to see him out here in the PNW.

He needs to go to a program that has a QB guru preferably as HC. Eason needs to work on his game. Mike Leach at Washington State. Or even Bobo at Colorado State.

We're in big trouble if he transfers. If we get fields that means we're one injury away from the third straight year with a true Freshman QB starting. If we don't get Fields, we have a walk on as our backup.
Also, even if he does transfer that doesn't lock down Fields. There is a chance he doesn't want to redshirt and then sit another year behind Fromm if he stays his Senior year which would be likely.

If Eason leaves, fields is guaranteed snaps in game 1. That helps us in his recruitment imo.

Are you saying Eason staying would help us land fields?

No, if you had any reading comprehension or critical thinking skills you would know that. I said Eason leaving may not even help us with Fields, how would him staying help?
I am laughing at you lobbying for Eason to transfer so we can have another true Freshman "take snaps in game one."
Especially, when we would be much better off with him red shirting to create some separation between him and Fromm.
But I'm mostly laughing because you never fail to have the most asinine take on everything. You and Jodeaux are two peas in a pod.

If he does transfer its because he loses the position in practice. If he does transfer its because we have a better starting QB.
I'd be surprised if this happens. Smart and company had all off season, spring and fall to evaluate the two and Fromm lost out to Eason. I think it happens again and we ar even better off going forward....if it doesn't the alternative ain't looking bad.....

We have a true freshman right now and I like him better than our true soph. If our next true freshman is better than our next true soph I'll like him also.
True freshmen QBs in college and rookie QBs in the NFL aren't necessarily the disasters that they once were. Hurts almost won the CNCG. Look at Fromm. Look at what the amazing Watson did today for the Texans.

Speaking of horrid reading comprehension, how did you conclude I am lobbying for Eason to leave? Good job, That's a truly stupid take.

A lot of that was coach speak, but Fromm has plenty of experience now, so it's all out the window.

I was thinking the exact same thing, both make sense.

Yeah, only way Fromm was going to start over a healthy Eason was if Eason started throwing worse than Ramsey in practice. His 1 year of experience was the difference maker in the depth chart.
Eason got significant playing time in 11 games last year. Fromm now has significant playing time in 5 games this year, leaving Eason with a 6 game advantage at this point, but I think a lot of that advantage is offset by Fromm's experience being more recent.

Florida? He was at least semi-interested. I think he stays if we miss on Fields. if we sign Fields he will be gone.

The problem is you are judging our true sophomore by what he did as a true freshman. I mean, Fromm MIGHT be better than our true sophomore, but we don't know.

Not necessarily...but I'd be willing to bet they are are more examples of them struggling than there are of them stepping in and excelling.

Hurts had Alabama quality players surrounding him. No other team in the country does.

Maybe. But there is no denying that Eason was named the starter. Are you saying Kirby is playing a player simply based on his being here longer? I thought that is what everybody criticized Richt for.

Pretty much, yes.
