I'd rather see who else is available when the time comes before I jump on the "bring your own guts" doofus train. It would be very tough for me going from a coach that I consider brilliant to rah rah dabo daba do

I hear ya, I can see how his personality can turn someone off, but I think that his stuff comes from a genuine place. I think he is a good guy that really loves his players, and his players really love him. I can handle the rah-rah stuff when that's the case.

I'm sure I'd get used to it, if he were winning.

But, honestly, I often wonder if Saban's retirement might not be the perfect time for this aging man to take a step back from following sports so closely. I've been a die hard fan my whole life. Maybe spend those Saturdays doing a little more hunting, fishing, or time with the family. Seems like a good plan, but I'm sure if Bama was in the hunt it would be impossible.
